The “Mortelle”
The owner of Fattoria Le Mortelle is Marchesi Antinori Family; the Antinori’s are famous for the Tignanello wine and they have opened their wine farm in Maremma and they produce bordeaux blend wines of good quality.
Rocca di Frassinello
Rocca of Frassinello wine farm was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. The wine farm is the result of a “joint venture” between italians and french. Rocca di Frassinellos’ wines are all blends except for the famous Baffonero 100% Merlot.

Monteverro is situated at the foot of the medieval village of Capalbio. The owner of the farm is Weber, a german family, who fell in love with this Maremma corner and with its red clay. Thanks to the earth, the proximity to the sea, the owner’s knowledgement and the best french wine experts, were born in Capalbio the best blends such as “Monteverro”, a real premier Maremman Grand Cru.
Beaches and Islands
Calaviolina
Cala Violina is delimited by two promontory in the Mediterrenean Scrub of the natural reserve of Scarlino; you can reach it by bike or by feet. This is a beautiful beach and it has a wild nature, blu waters and the sand is made of quartz grains.

Le Rocchette
Rocchette beach iso ne of the most beautiful in Maremma. It has clear waters that they allow to do snorkeling. Moreover Rocchette beach is very closet o a pine trees forest and the Rocchette Fortress that i sto say an ancient sighting towe of the XII cent. but now private property. Rocchette beach has free beach or beach resorts such as the historical Bagno Alessandro, provided with all the comforts among them the car park.

Punta Ala
Punta Ala is a promontory on the south of the gulf of Follonica; it is a famous seaside place composed by free beaches and beach resorts, long walk along the port and the famous Golf Club of Punta Ala (have a look on Sport section). Argentario
The Argentario is a promontori surrounded by the sea and connected to the coast line by Giannella and Feniglia and the artificial dam of Orbetello. The two main turistic villages of Argentario are Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano. From Porto Santo Stefano it leaves the ferry that bring people to Giglio Island just in one hour of time. There are two shipping company: Toremar and Mare Giglio.

Castiglione della Pescaia
Castiglione della Pescaia village has a strategic position for who are interested to visit the most typical tuscan villages because it iso ne hour far from Siena so, the Chianti Kingdom and Bolgheri; they are very attractive places for people who loves wine. Not so far from this village there are the most beautiful villages of the Val D’Orcia (Patrimonio Unesco 2014). In the end, for the most sedentary people who loves the sea, our village has so many different beaches like sand beaches, pine trees forest beaches and path, that satisfy people who loves outdoor excursion by feet, by mountain bike or by riding a hourse.
Montalcino
Montalcino is on the west side of Pienza and it is one of those villages surrounded by the outstanding landscape of Val D’orcia. Montalcino is also the remarkable village for the production of the famous Brunello wine.

Massa Marittima e Abbazia di San Galgano
Massa Marittima is a maremman city of art, located between the amazing metallic hills and it is 400 meters on the sea level. 31 kilometers far from this lovely village, guests have the possibility to visit the huge Cistercian San Galgano Abbey; it was built between the 1220 and the 1268, and it hosts the famous “sword in the stone” that was anchored in 1180 by San Galgano Guidotti.
Volterra
Volterra is an old village in the province of Pisa and it has Etruscan origins. Thanks to the book of Stephenie Meyer it has become the city of the vampires , that is to say, the spot in which was shoot the Twilight Saga.
San Gimignano
San Gimignano has a hilly landsccape and it based on the south west side of Firenze. It is known for the production of Vernaccia wine, one of the best white wine and for the production of saffron. It is really intriguing watching the peculiar skyline of the village where you can find the “Torre Grossa” a stone tower.
Siena
Siena is situated half an hour far from San Galgano Abbey. This Tuscan town is remarkable for its medieval buildings made of bricks. In “Piazza del Campo”, the central and typical square with its fan shape, you can find “Palazzo Pubblico” (the town hall in gothic style) and “Torre del Mangia”, a high tower of the XIX cent. From its white crenellation it can be possible enjoy an outstanding view. The town is surrounded by the historical city quarters “Contrade”. The “Duomo”, S. Maria Assunta Cathedral have a gothic roman style.
Pitigliano
Pitigliano is one of the most beautiful italian villages and Orange Flag. The village was built on tuff stones and it is called the little “Gerusalemme” because in the XVI cent. hosted a jewish community.
Capalbio
Capalbio is the little Athens of the Tuscany, and the town hall in the south of this region. It is characterized by its position on a hill where there is the lovely medieval castle. In 5 minutes from Capalbio, there is a small hamlet called Pescia Fiorentina where there is the famous Tarot Garden, and artistic park built by a french architect Niky De Saint Phalle. Not so far form the sea there is the natural reserve of Burano Lake, the natural oasis of WWF.

Natural Reserve of Diaccia Botrona
Diaccia Botrona is a swamp area: this is what remains of Prile Lake, that was dried out by the Lorenas’ reclamations. In Diaccia Botrona there are pink flamingos, Clodia Island and the Red House or Ximenes of the eighteenth century.
Regional Park of Maremma
The regional park of maremma is estende from the promontori of Talamoneto the mouth of the Ombrone river and this is a place that presents many ecosystems. Most part of its ectars are covered by the mounts of Uccellina and inside the park it is possibile to observe 270 species of birds and it is also possible to visit it by carriage, by bike, by canoe and by horse.
